In last week’s edition of the Douglas Dispatch there was a story about the Robles family gathering toys for patients at Tucson Medical Center. Throughout the week the family gathered donations and toys from various people and businesses around town.

On Sunday Rene and Rachel Robles along with their parents Lupita and Hector were at the Douglas Wal-Mart spending over $1,000 buying toys for their toy drive. Wal-Mart Manager Alex Peralta even kicked in providing the family with a discount as they checked out.

The toys were taken to Tucson this past Monday guaranteed to bring smiles to the faces of many children currently staying at TMC.
