Rosa C. Montano passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at La Solana Care Center. She was born August 13, 1938 in Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico. She was preceded in death by her daughter Elvia Montano, brother Manuel Diaz, sister Guadalupe Chanez Molina and former husband Teodoro Montano. Rosa is survived by her children, Maritza (Ralph) Velasco, Martin Montano and Teodoro “Teddy” Montano; grandchildren, Jessica and Jackie Velasco and Mabel, Teodoro Andrew, Pamela and Ivan Montano; great-grandchildren, Damien and Gianna Federico; sisters, Maria Jesus Diaz, Dolores Romero Cabreda and Herlinda Moncada. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A Rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Immaculate Conception Church. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated following the Rosary at 11:00 a.m. also at Immaculate Conception Church.
