Aubrey Guy Miller, 89 of Portal, Arizona passed away surrounded by family and friends June 28, 2012 at the Sierra Vista Regional Hospital, after a short illness.



Guy was born on the family ranch near Apache, Arizona on January 5, 1923. He grew up in the San Simon Valley and ranched his entire life in that area. His love for roping and spending time with many friends was his joy in his long retirement.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Morrow Miller and a daughter, Custie Miller Mauzy. He is survived by his daughter, Priss Miller Wright, two grandsons, Todd Wright and Darrel Mauzy, and five great grandchildren.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM Arizona Time (or 11:00 AM New Mexico Mountain Time) on July 28, 2012 at the Rodeo Community Center, with interment to follow at the Paradise Graveyard. In celebration of Guy’s long life, a potluck will be shared at the Rodeo Community Center following interment.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Rodeo Community Center or charity of choice.
