Krentz donated five books to the library.

“I believe that these are all history books of the local area and shows how much the Ranching community influenced the area” she said.

As Arizona celebrates its Centennial in 2012, the Hall of Fame has published “Arizona Farming and Ranching Hall of Fame”, Vol. One, 2008-2012, a 220-page book containing photos and histories of each of the 43 honorees from 2008 to 2012. Essays on agricultural history and water issues past, present and future are also included. The book, an official Arizona Centennial Legacy Project, was introduced at the 2012 Honoree's Dinner. Eight Arizona agricultural pioneers from across the state were also honored.

“100 Years 100 Ranchers” by photographer Scott T. Baxter is a collection of photographs of ranchers in and around Arizona. Some of the ranchers included in the book are the Glenn’s family, Freddy Davis and the Krentz family. Baxter dedicated “100 Years 100 Ranchers” to Mr. Robert Krentz and his family.

“One If by Land” by William R. Daniel, gives voice to many ranchers living in southern border towns. He talks about the many obstacles they encounter with illegal immigration, smugglers and how the government has done little to help them.

"Letters for Logan “by Deb Argel-Bastian is the story of a mother’s love for her son, and the legacy she is compelled to leave her grandson.

The one book that is near and dear to Krentz’s heart is “I’m Grieving as Fast as I Can” by Linda Feinberg. The author, who has worked as a counselor for more than a decade, shares her thoughts and dilemmas about the situations that arise as a result of losing a loved one.

“We are very happy and thankful to Susan for giving us these beautiful books we are going to put them in our collection and just take good care of them,” Olga Rudy, Library Specialist, said.

Some will be part of the Arizona collection. The books will be available to the public at the end of the week for check out.
