On August 17, 2012 our beloved Mother, Angelita Pedrego Arevalo was called home by our Lord Jesus Christ after completing an amazing journey here on earth. She has reunited with her beloved Parents: Angel Pedrego and Valentina Lugo Pedrego; Husband: Jose Maria Arevalo; Brother: Alberto Pedrego; Sisters: Julia Ahumada & Laura Barraza; Aunts: Fransica Pedrego, and Manuela Davila. She died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving children and family in Tucson, Ariz.



Celebrating the wonders of her memory are Aunt: Isidra “Chila” Figueroa; Brothers & Sisters: Rosalia (Vincent) Buck, Fermin (Cristina) Pedrego, Victor (Lynn) Pedrego, Frances (Daryl) Brown, Estella (Merquiadeza) Reyes, Lupita (Frank) Luna; Children: Gloria (Carlos Sr.) Acedo, Adam Avilez, Jose Luis Arevalo, Jose Juan Arevalo, Angie Arevalo, Mary (Martin) Chavez, Lupita Arevalo, Marcos (Mary Ann) Arevalo; Grandchildren: Carlos Jr. (Felicia) Acedo, Gloria Guadalupe Ramos, Andrea Westbrook, Angela (Richard) Duecker, Eric Avilez, Celeste Torres, Jose Luis Arevalo, Kayleigh Mason, Emilio Arevalo, Marisela Palma, Luis Angel Arevalo; Great-grandchildren: Sabrina Ramos, Yesenia Perez, Victor Acedo, Albert Acedo, Maya Acedo, Adam Acedo, Alexander Duecker, and so dear to Angelita her extended family, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Angelita was born in Colonia Morelos, Sonora Mexico. She became a Naturalized U.S. Citizen and resided in Douglas, Arizona for many years. Her working career began at Douglas Owl Drug then after studied nursing and physical therapy she was employed at Cochise County Hospital first as a Physical Therapist then an LPN; followed by Cypress Inn nursing home as an LPN where she loved taking care of the elderly and they loved her in return. In retirement, she retired in Tucson, Arizona with her children.

Angelita accepted each day with faith, courage, peace, love and hope. She shared her loving ways with everyone. Her extraordinary love and compassion for her family and the love she received from everyone that knew her was the source of her great strength to live each day to the fullest. She inspired us with her grace, devotion & dignity. She will be deeply missed, cherished and never forgotten. She will continue to be the heart and soul of our family. We take comfort in knowing she was an Angel here on Earth as she will be in Heaven. God blessed us by sending us an Angel as a Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, Grand-mother & Friend with a kind and loving heart and a beautiful soul. We know she will always be with us because her blood runs in our veins.

Special thanks to her Caregiver, Ramona Medina, Sophia Medina, and daughter Lupita Arevalo from Soreo of Tucson, Az., to Carondelet Hospice Care and all the support from the other agencies.     " I heard someone call out your name, when I turned around to see who it was, I found myself alone; Then I knew it was my heart, missing you. Thank you Momma Angie for all the wonderful childhood memories that I will cherish through all the days of my life in my heart. Rest now in Jesus precious name! "
