St. Luke’s holds fiestas

St Luke’s Church held their annual fiesta four day fundraiser Aug. 30-Sept. 2

The celebration started with a mass on Aug 30. The Fiestas are one of the many fundraisers that help church pay for expenses and support the various activities that the church funds throughout the year.

There was a wide variety of food, such as burritos, hamburgers, tacos, corn cocktails, hot dogs, menudo, carne asada, pastries, churros, barbacoa and shrimp plates. There was also a large variety of entertainment.

The church held a raffle on Sunday which included items such as crochet blankets and pictures.
