New dance studio opens in Douglas By Trisha MaldonadoDouglas Dispatch Line up the kids a there’s a new dance studio in town. Bella Bailarina, ran and owned by Nubia Elias and Adriana Harris, opened their doors August 13. Elias, who has been a dance instructor for three years said, “the girls are really excited and we are having a lot of fun.” Classes are being offered to dancers ages 2 and up, with styles ranging from ballet to jazz, tap, Folklorico, Tahitian, Broadway, and hip-hop. Registration cost is $40 a month. “We currently have 42 girls registered, and are still accepting dancers,” Elias said. Bella Bailarina’s first recital will be held in December, date and location to be announced at a later time.
