On Thursday Sep 13, 2012 at 6:10 p.m. our beautiful Mother Lorenza Fimbres Leon passed away at Southeastern Arizona Medical Center.



Our mother was born on August 10, 1925 in Huasabas, Sonora Mexico. Her parents were Guillermo and Maria Fimbres. Our mother was known as “Lencha” to her friends and family.

She is preceded in death by her husband Hector R. Leon, sister Felicitas Durazo, brothers Carmelo and Luis Fimbres, granddaughter Loren Marie Leon, grandson Francisco Jesus Carranza and daughter in law Gloria Leon. Lorenza was a devoted, caring, loving mother and a faithful servant to God.

She is survived by her children: Hector Jr., Ernesto, Yolanda (Antonio), Heriberto, Everardo (Sandra), Francisco (Patsy), Gildardo, Guillermo (Leila), Martina and Lorenia (Frank); 17 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; sister Lucy Garcia (Ignacio) of Sierra Vista, AZ. and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Rosary will be offered at Immaculate Conception Church at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 followed by a Mass of the Resurrection at 11:00 a.m. with Father Gilbert Malu officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Pallbearers who will serve are Hector F. Leon, Jr., Ernest F. Leon, Eddie F. Leon, Eve F. Leon, Sr., Francisco F. Leon, Gildardo F. Leon and Guillermo F. Leon. Honorary Pallbearers will be Marcos Leon, Michael Leon, Chris Leon, Hector E. Peralta, Ricky Peralta, Derek Fry, Eve Leon, Jr., Gildardo Leon, Jr., Frank Carranza and Tony Peralta. You are finally free from pain and suffering and in the hands of God. God bless you Mom, until we meet again.
