Friends President Carol Melis was pleased to announce the fall book sale is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 12 and Saturday, Oct. 13, in the conference room at the Library, located at 560 10th Street.

Members can attend the special preview night on Thursday, October 11, from 5-7 p.m.

Membership forms will be available during the preview night sale.

Proceeds from the book sales benefit many library activities, particularly those planned each year for children and teens. Funds from the sales also support the Adult Book Discussion Group and other activities throughout the year, including the Friends’ contributions to the Spirit of Douglas Awards and the Authors and Artists Celebration at the Gadsden in October.
