Teresa “ChaCha” Estrada Lianes, 53, of Douglas passed away on Oct. 7 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born Sept. 16, 1959 to Aida Saavedra and Gilbert “Beto” Estrada.



As a homemaker, she dedicated her life to her children, spent most of her time with her grandchildren and enjoyed visiting friends with her husband Jorge Lianes of 29 years.

She always was first and foremost a mother and grandmother and always placed herself last. She is survived by her husband Jorge Lianes, her children Oscar Estrada, Suzette Guillen (Fernando) and George Lianes (Guadalupe Lopez) and 12 grandchildren; siblings, Gilbert (Baby) Estrada, Frank Estrada (Frances), Estella Morales (David), Letty Estrada, Lydia Gibbson (Dirk), Lucy Verdvich and Rene Estrada (Bertha).

She was preceded in death by her father Gilbert (Beto) Estrada, sister Yolanda Estrada Alvarado and sister-in-law Celina Valencia Estrada.

Pall bearers will be Jorge Lianes, Oscar Estrada, George Lianes, Victor Campoy, Rene Estrada, Frank Estrada Jr. and Gilbert Estrada.

Rosary will be held on Thursday, Oct. 11, at 7 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Church. A mass will take place Friday, Oct. 12 at Immaculate at 11 a.m.
