Walk for Hope tonight

The House of Hope Domestic Crisis Shelter Candle Light/Walk and Vigil will take place this evening.


The event begins at City Hall at 6 p.m. with Mayor Danny Ortega Jr. reading the proclamation

Participants will walk to the 10th Street Park, where the rest of the program will take place.

“Domestic violence destroys the spirits of families. It creates fear, erodes dignity and kills. The House of Hope will empower victims/families by providing guidance through legal procedures and education through sharing of information. We will promote our goals in order to alleviate hardships incurred by victims and their families. We are committed to assisting in the healing process.”- House of Hope’s Mission statement.
