Special city council meeting Wednesday Bruce Whetten The Douglas City Council has called a special meeting for noon Wednesday in the city hall council chambers. Just one item is on the agenda. The mayor and council plan on discussing the possible purchase, sale or lease of properties located at 222 E. First Street; 1201 Third Street; 1260 16th Street; 1240 18th Street and property located on the west side of Pan American Ave. on the extension of Sixth Street between Pan American Ave. and Chino Road. An executive session may be held to discuss this issue. The meeting is open to the public.
