DFD to host golf tourney Dec. 1

The Douglas Fire Department will be hosting a golf tournament Dec. 1 with proceeds and donations going towards a local food and toy charity.

The format will be a four-man scramble. Registration will start at 8 a.m. and the shotgun start will follow at 9.

There is a $15 per person registration fee plus any can good or unwrapped toy.

Raffle tickets will also help raise funds for the cause.
