Shainah Lee Nerio turned 11 years old on Nov. 25. She is the daughter of Carlos and Norma Nerio of Douglas. Her brother is Carlos Jr. and sister is Alejandra. Her grandparents are Albert and Norma Lomeli of Douglas and Richard and Sylvia Johnson of Tucson. Her great-grandparents are Sylvia and the late Pete Gonzales of Tucson and the late Donato and Mary “Cati” Reyes of Douglas. Her godparents are Manuel Encinas and Lisette Verdugo both of Douglas.
