" As a new volunteer at the Douglas Area Food Bank, I must say that I have never seen a more dedicated bunch of volunteers. Beginning with the president and all his staff, these people care. They are there at the building, hot or cold, rain or shine, working and setting up for the morning distribution of about 3,900 resident per month. These dedicated employees (without pay) deserve to be honored and complimented and thank them for all the good and unselfished work that they do. "
