Lity Pinedo, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 13th in Tucson after months of failing health.



Lity was born May 17, 1927, to Manuel Pinedo and Beatriz De La Torre Ramirez in Pirtleville, Arizona. She was the third youngest in a family of 8 and was very close to her brothers and sisters. Lity worked at the Owl Drug for 38 yrs. retiring in 1983.

Lity was predeceased by her parents, Manuel Pinedo and Beatriz Ramirez; and brothers, Felipe and Chencho Pinedo. She is survived by her sisters, Frances Robles from Pirtleville, Arizona; Nellie Navarro (Tony- deceased), from Bakersfield, California; a brother, Tom Ramirez (Socorro) from Tucson, sisters, Petra Fernandez (Ray) from Tucson and Mercy Rivera (Bobby) from Thatcher, Arizona; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Lity will be greatly missed and holds a dear place in the hearts of all those touched with her life.

A Rosary and prayer vigil will be recited on Friday, December 21st at 7:00 p.m. at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Pirtleville. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 22nd also at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church with a Christian Burial immediately following at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Pirtleville, Arizona.

    " I lived at irvine street . my godmother(first comminon ) was rosey pinedo. she lived on the street where the school is located. are you relatives of her? "
