A presentation by Cochise College Lifelong Learning Director Larry Catten was presented at the Douglas Chamber of Commerce luncheon on Dec. 6.

Catten spoke of the importance of Cochise College developing a business partnership with the Douglas Chamber of Commerce.
Cochise College Lifelong Learning department would like to develop a strong working relationship and understand of the needs of businesses in the Douglas area.
Catten said that having regular and consistent strategy meetings with Douglas Chamber of Commerce would help in developing these relationships.
Cochise College would work with chamber members in customized training classes to meet local business and industry workforce development needs.
Chamber President Susan Kramer reminded those in attendance of the recycle program at the Douglas High School Library. Bring used toner, printer and ink cartilages, cameras and cell phones to the library to be recycled.
The Parent-Teacher-Student Organization (PTSO) at the Douglas High School is looking for volunteers to help with their carne asada sale on Jan. 12. Proceeds from this fundraiser go to project graduation.
The chamber is also looking volunteers for the Welcome Wagon committee. The Welcome Wagon committee welcomes new comers to the Douglas area.
The next chamber luncheon will be held on Jan. 3 at the Douglas Unified Administration building.
