Dear Editor

The 2012 Annual Pirtleville Fire Department Christmas Party was once again a huge success. 950 bags of goodies, cake, and hot dogs were given out. We had a raffle of Food City Gift Cards and 4 bicycles that were won by local area residents.

You have to have an army of Santa helpers in order to put on a party of this size. We are so grateful to all you who were so generous with donations and also those who gave their time to put on this event. “Kids” of all ages had a blast.

Thank You Santa’s Helpers: Sara & David Velasco, Frances Carrizoza, Albert Velasco, John Behrens, Luis Montes de Oca, Rosemary Tapia, Pirtleville Grocery Store, Food City (Martin & Chuy), Little Debbie (Tony Pizano), Pirtleville Community Action Network (Hector Salinas & Rudy Alcaraz), Delia Dominques, Rachel Zamora, Ramon Jordan Family, Border Mart (Raul Montano Family), Sam’s Club, Clarissa Velasco-Whicker (Agua Life), Coca Cola (Daniel Molina), Dollar Tree Store, Mi Ranchito, Ann English (County Supervisor), Bobby Anaya, Dan Pollack, Frito Lay (Luis), Gloria & Trini Arvajoy, Kalil Bottling Company (Luis).

Pirtleville Firemen, Frankie, Bob, Gabrriel, Mark, Joe, Tony, Manny, Mario and all of Santa’s volunteers who bagged the candy, Bobby Z., Crystal Z., J.R., Danny G., Eric, Diva, Carla, Andrea, Andy, Adam, Rachel, JoAnn, Sylvia, Michael M.

Santa wants also to send a special warm “Thank You” to Tony & Sylvia Vaca and their children. He knows how hard you work all year to put this on.

We hope everyone had a safe holiday and Happy New Year to all.

Sincerely

Pirtleville Fire Department
