Gas price continues free fall

According to the latest survey by the Cochise College Center for Economic Research, conducted December 10—14, the average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline in Cochise County fell from $3.54 to $3.44 over the preceding two-week period. A year ago, the nationwide average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline, according to EIA, was $3.34, which is 1 cent lower than its current price. At the state level, according to AAA Arizona, the price a year ago was 5 cents higher at $3.27. In Cochise County, according to the CER survey, the price a year ago was 6 cents lower at $3.38.
