Faras Elementary hosted a Christmas program on Dec. 18. The cafeteria was full of family and friends waiting to see their children perform.

Principal Jasper Lusby welcomed the guests. The hour and a half program featured performances from grades pre-school to fifth grade.

A procession of cute little mice, sugar-plums, snowflakes, reindeer and Santa walked on stage as Mrs. Jodi Duarte read “A Night before Christmas” began the program.

Each grade level under the direction of their teachers sang joyful songs of the season including “Jingle Bells,” “Feliz Navidad,” “Do You Hear What I Hear,” and "I'm Getting Nuttin' For Christmas.”
