January’s stakeholders group meeting Thursday

The Douglas and Agua Prieta Port of Entry Stakeholders Group Meeting will be held this Thursday from 11a.m. to 1p.m. at the Douglas Visitor Center, located at 345 16th Street.

All port users as well as local, state and federal agencies on both sides of the border are welcomed to participate in this monthly gathering in hopes of improving the efficiency and effectiveness of border crossing between Douglas and Agua Prieta.

As part of the monthly dialogue, it is the group’s intent to identify the border crossing and transportation issues encountered by organizations as well as the solutions to improving the flow of cross border traffic within our bi-national region.
