Roberto “Bobby” Botello, 60, passed away at his home on January 1, 2013.



Bobby joins his mother and father in heaven, Maria Jesus Botello and Roberto H. Botello. Survived by daughter, Josie Gonzalez and son, Eddie (Angela) Botello, children of Maria Emma Botello. Bobby leaves behind four grandchildren; Marcus Anthony and Mariah Gonzalez, and Carlos and Diego Botello. Bobby is survived by his brother Armando Figueroa, Ana (Lionel) Juvera, Frank (Marsha) Botello, Rosemary (Mike) Campoy, Isabel (Ramon) Garcia, and Gracie (Jesus) Diaz, as well as many nieces and nephews.

As a long-time resident of Douglas, Bobby worked for the Douglas schools for over 25 years, and was an avid baseball fan. Bobby is well-known for his love of old cars and was a member of the Midnighters Car Club. Bobby collected antiques and was proud to show you his newest find. May you rest in peace, Bob.

Rosary will be held at Immaculate Conception Church at 7:00 pm on

Tuesday, January 8, 2013. Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday January 9, 2013at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He will be laid to rest at Cavalry Cemetery following mass.
