Winter storm advisory in effect for Douglas Douglas Dispatch A winter storm advisory is in effect for Douglas and the surrounding areas until 11 p.m. Wednesday. Officials for the National Weather Service are saying another winter storm is expected to blow through late Tuesday and all day Wednesday bringing with it another chance of snow. According to the National Service website, http://forecast.weather.gov. there is an 80 percent chance of snow Wednesday and snow fall totals for Douglas could be between one to two inches. Bisbee and Sierra Vista are expected to receive more. Anyone traveling on Highway 80 or 191 is urged to use extreme caution. Wind gusts of up to 50 miles per hour are also expected. The high in Douglas Wednesday is expected to be around 48 with a low of 26. This will be the fourth snow fall in Douglas since December. |
