Team scores were not available from the Douglas coaches. At 106-pounds Douglas’ Thomas Cardenas was 2-2 in the meet pinning kids from Buena and Sahauro while losing by pin to wrestlers from San Manuel and Campo Verde. Rogelio Martinez was 0-2 at 113 losing to Sahuaro and Walden Grove. Christian Ross was 0-2 at 120 losing by decision to wrestlers from Nogales and Santa Rita. Brandon Moreno was 0-2 at 160 losing by pin to Salpointe and by decision to Santa Rita. Brandon Cardenas was 0-1 at 170 losing by pin to a wrestler from Blue Ridge. At 189-pounds Carlos Estrada was 2-2 pinning wrestlers from Buena and Empire while losing by fall to Gila Ridge and Walden Grove. At 285 Nick Leigh was 1-2 winning by forfeit over a wrestler from Salpointe while losing to Sahuaro and Gila Ridge |
