EDUARDO A. “LALO” COTA

Eduardo A. “Lalo” Cota, beloved son, brother, dad, uncle and friend entered eternal rest on March 4, 2013 after battling a long illness. He was born April 14, 1967 to Alberto and Alicia Cota in Douglas, Arizona. He was the youngest son of seven brothers with an only sister. On August 20, 1996 his biggest happiness was the birth of Eduardo “Lalito” Cota, Jr. Lalo always put everyone before himself and his main concern was always making his family happy. He was a very hard worker in his landscaping, always with his brothers Raul and Enrique. Every morning he would make sure his mom would hear The Trading Post and watch The Price is Right. The main hobbies Lalo enjoyed was taking his son to the park, attending baseball and softball games, cooking/grilling with his only and favorite brother in law Bobby and going to Food City for preparation of lunch and dinner for his family. His biggest passion was sports. He enjoyed watching wrestling on Monday and Friday nights. His favorite teams were the Chicago Cubs, Arizona Wildcats, Phoenix Suns and Dallas Cowboys. His favorite athlete of all time was Ryan Sanberg. He will always be remembered by his big smile and friendly handshakes, hugs and kisses. Lalo is preceded in death by his sister Selina Cota and survived by his loving parents Alberto and Alicia Cota, his sister Leticia Olivas (Bobby), his twin brother Enrique Cota, Ruben Cota (Cindy Vasquez), Raul Arvayo, Heriberto Arvayo, Arturo Alvarez, Rodolfo Delgado (Loreto), his son Eduardo “Lalito” Cota and by many nieces and nephews. We love you very much; you will always be remembered and will forever be in our hearts. A Rosary for Lalo will be recited on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at the Brown Page Mortuary Chapel. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
