Arnold "Tweety" Ybarra After an extended illness, Tweety made his trip heaven on the evening of Feb. 24th 2013. He graduated from Douglas High School, and then began working at the Douglas Smelter until its closing. Following the smelter he was employed at the Red Barn Restaurant. He soon found a love of cooking and became the head cook. Closer to the end of his life he worked at Wal-Mart. Tweety is survived by his wife for 22 years, Lynn Ybarra. As well as his children, Erica Ybarra Acedo husband Rudy Acedo, Vincent "Vinnie" Ybarra wife Celina Ybarra, Joey Ybarra, Christopher Ybarra, Brandon Ybarra, and Jeremy Ybarra. Tweety's siblings Albert Ybarra wife Virgina Ybarra, Armando Ybarra wife Man Ybarra, Freddy Ybarra, Stella Hernandez Fish husband Jack Fish. Tweety is survived by six grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Tweety is also survived by his sister in-laws Lea Cervi, Renee Puzzi, Lonnie Quick wife Debbie Quick. Tweety is preceded in death by his parents; Albert and Amelia Ybarra, mother in-law Grace Rawlins, daughter Elizabeth "Lisa" Ybarra, brother in-law Richard Puzzi Sr. Tweety will be sorely missed by all who had the good fortune to know him. He loved watching every Nascar race, spending time with his grandchildren, gardening, and working with carpentry. Services will be held at Immaculate Conception Church on March 7, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. A celebration of Tweety's life will follow the services at the Douglas American Legion.
