The Pirtleville Community Action Committee, Inc., wants to thank all the individuals who participated in our Pirtleville Community Clean-Up Day event held Saturday, September 22, 2012. The event was very successful and was made possible only by the many people and organizations that contributed their time and/or donations. We appreciate the volunteers that showed up for the event. Two large container bins were filled to capacity and about thirty-two truck loads of refuse were issued vouchers and dispatched to the transfer station for disposal. This project helped residents dispose of a lot of unwanted items and other debris.
We want to thank our major sponsors Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold (Copper Queen Branch) and Cochise County Government. We thank them for their continued support in making our community a better place to live.
