Haven Health Group is revising the temporary restrictions on visitors after additional guidance was provided today from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) during a national press conference. CMS directed all skilled nursing facilities to immediately limit all visitors to nursing homes with the exception of essential healthcare personnel and to arrange for authorized visitors of Residents whose health condition has declined to end of life status.

As a result, Haven Health has restricted all visitations to our centers to continue to prevent any potential infection and spreading of coronavirus. Haven Health will continue to provide and arrange communication with Residents through video and phone conferencing. Should you be contacted regarding the declining health status of a resident at Haven Health or request visitation under those circumstances, Haven Health will provide specific instructions in arranging a visit and the limitations and precautionary measures that will apply to an authorized visitation. This communication and visits will be done with the utmost respect and care for you, your family member and the circumstances you face.

All other restrictions to student classes, volunteers, vendors and employee screenings published in our last update remain unchanged at this time for the continued protection of Residents, Caring Professionals and the communities we serve.

We are extremely appreciative of the understanding and support of family members, community members and especially our dedicated Caring Professionals who continue to make the provision of healthcare possible. If you happen to know a healthcare provider or anyone who works in healthcare at this time, please join with us in thanking them for their service.

For additional information regarding these policies, please reach out to your local Haven Health care center.
