Rudy Pinedo Gonzales, born April 14, 1940 has entered eternal life on July 2, 2019.
Rudy is preceded in death by his parents Augustin and Maria Gonzales, his brothers Gilbert Gonzales, Ramon “Monchi” Gonzales and Elizabeth (Beth) Hogan, companion. He is survived by his Uncle Simon Pinedo (Tenchi) of Fresno, CA., his sister-in-law Adela Gonzales, his nieces Becky Gonzales (Genny), Raquel Rosadillo (Tony), Monalisa Burns (Jim), Noralee Acosta, his nephew Eddie Gonzales (Consuelo) all of Arizona; Renee Durazo of Oklahoma and Corina Monnin (Jeff) of Kentucky. Rudy also leaves many great nieces, nephews, cousins and especially all his friends from the American Legion.
Rudy served in the United States Navy and was proud to serve his country. He worked as a surveyor with Phelps Dodge. He enjoyed his job traveling around the United States. The states of Montana and Idaho being his favorites. Rudy was a quiet man who loved being with his friends at his second home, the American Legion. He will be missed dearly not only by his family but his friends as well.
Funeral services are being handled by Brown Page Mortuary with services to be on July 12, 2019, Rosary at 10 a.m followed by the Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St Luke’s Church. Burial to follow at the Calvary Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Maximo Rosadillo, Maximo Rosadillo Jr., Saul Carrizoza, Ramon Gonzales, Michael Acosta and Alejandro Durazo. Honorary Pallbearers are Eddie Gonzales, Pancho Aparicio, Jose (Tony) Rosadillo, Xavier Rosadillo, Jerry Torres, Rick Acevedo, Roger (Scooter) Hogan, Jim Burns and Robert Durazo.
In lieu of flowers please feel free to make a donation to the American Legion. A gathering for the celebration of his life will be followed at the American Legion Hall, Douglas, AZ. No farewell words were spoken, no time to say goodbye, you were gone before we knew it, and only God knows why. Tio, you will be missed forever, until we meet again.
