Pets of the week

Happy New Year!!

We are this week’s Douglas Dispatch Pets of the Week and we are hoping you will help us find a forever home, hopefully before the New Year.

I am adult male Terrier that has been at the Douglas Animal Shelter several weeks. It’s a little scary in here because the other dogs are so big. I just lay on my doggie bed hoping someone will come get me and give me a chance to be a good, loving pet.

I have not had my shots nor have I been neutered. I’m willing to do whatever it takes to go to a good, loving home.

The little female puppy with me this week was in the paper last week with her two brothers. They got adopted so now she is here by herself.

She is a Rottweiler /Sharpi mix and very cute.

She, like me, is a little shy at first but will warm up to you once we get into a safe, comfortable home.

If you, or if you know of someone who is willing to adopt us or one of our other friends here please stop by the Douglas Animal Shelter at 2017 N. Rogers Ave. or call (520) 364-7567.

You can also visit us on Facebook under the Douglas Animal Shelter.

Please come by and see us and help us find forever homes.

The shelter will be closing New Year’s Eve at 4 p.m., be closed New Years Day and reopen Friday at 9 a.m.

Happy New Year’s from all us here at the Douglas Animal Shelter.
