The 150th meeting of the historic rivalry between the Douglas Bulldogs and the Bisbee Pumas will take place Friday night at the Warren Ballpark in Bisbee.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
The Bulldogs are coming off a 49-7 win over the Tanque Verde Hawks last Saturday while this game is Bisbee’s season opener.
Douglas won last year’s meeting in Douglas 54-7 but then had to hand The Pick back over to Bisbee several weeks later after the Bulldogs were forced to forfeit the victory due to AIA sanctions.
Both teams are out to prove a point this Friday night which should make for an exciting game.
KGUN 9 of Tucson has announced their sportscaster Jason Barr will be in Bisbee to cover the game including doing a live promo at 6 p.m.
Tonight’s game also marks the 75th anniversary of The Pick being awarded to the winner of the game.
Tickets are still available at Douglas High School as well as at the gate Friday. Admission is $4 for adults; $2 for students and all military with ID.
